Speakers
Jess has been at Social Finance for 4+ years and has worked on a range of projects in the areas of wellbeing and mental health, ranging from working with UK Children’s Services departments to improve data quality on children in care, to scaling evidence-based employment support services for adults with severe mental illnesses across Europe. Since the end of 2021, she has been leading research into Online Harms, with a particular focus on the experience of children and young people and the complex links between social media use and mental health outcomes. She has also recently been part of a global project working with 15+ feminist organisations across the Majority World to identify routes to tackle online gender-based violence.
